Creating a New Contact Person

The Contacts main page can be reached via the main navigation on the left side. Click the New button on this page:

This way, you can both add a new person to an existing account, and create a new person plus an account to which the person is added.

Alternatively, you can create a new person from within an account’s details view:

If you choose this method, the new person is associated with the selected account, meaning that the account cannot be specified. Except for this difference, the procedures for creating a new person and a new account are the same because the following two rules always apply:

  • A new account cannot be created without creating a new contact person and associating this person with the account.

  • A new person cannot be created without associating her with an existing or a new account.
